There are many inquires about use of HDMI cable.
"I recently purchased your Markus 800 and am relatively pleased. I am having problem though with the video out functions. I have been able to correctly set it up for HDMI 1080p but every time I turn the unit off it resets to default. I then tried to set the inputs using component cables at 720p but the same problem. Now occasionally I am only able to connect to HDMI and have to setup the inputs manually every time I turn it on.
Getting the box to work with HDMI cables is almost a miracle.
This is very frustrating. Is this the "usual" behavior of your product or should I send it to you for repair or exchange."
A> This is not an usual behavior, however here is what you can do to fix the problem.
1. Please turn on the "TV" first before turn on the Markus 800
HDMI Cable need to recognize TV first.
Otherwise, Markus 800 won't recognize TV with HDMI cable setting, that is why it is its going back to "default" mode.
