ZIO Wireless-G MIMO Wireless Router combines smart antenna technology with standards-based Wireless-G (802.11g) networking. By overlaying the signals of two Wireless-G compatible radios, the "Multiple In, Multiple Out"(MIMO) technology effectively doubles the data rate.
With the MIMO (multiple In, multiple Out) technology, you enables to connect to wireless networks at farther distances than before, ZIO V12 has two antennas for signal reception and one antenna for high power signal transmission. Not only the connection distance is enhanced, but also the "dead spots" in the network will be reduced.
The features Packet-OVERDRIVE (Turbo Mode) technology that combines Packet Burst and Frame Aggregation for up to 35 Mbps throughput, without resorting to channel bonding that decreases available channels and increases interference. In addition, the MIMO solutions remains backward compatible, it can work perfectly with all your existing 802.11g/b products and preserve all your previous Wi-Fi investments.
